History and Mission

About the Co-Founder and President, The Stepfamily Strategist and Coparenting Mediator, Tricia Powe:  
Tricia is a lifetime stepfamily member. From birth to 39 years married and counting, every day of her life has been immersed in stepfamily dynamics.

She recalls speaking to the judge as a young child. Then, after experiencing the win-lose court system through her husband's co-parenting cases, she knew there had to be a better way for conflict resolution than getting trapped by the family court system's tag-team services that can lead to bankrupted relationships as well as finances.

Tricia is a visionary of what can be, an out-of-court support trailblazer for parent-stepparent couple relationships who would rather not litigate with the other parent or end up divorced themselves, and she insists that you can succeed -- even if you are UNblended. She'll show you the four-part program you can own.

MISSION & VISION BRIEF: 

Build capacity for co-parenting and step/blended family stability through four pillars: 

Connect | Collaborate | Educate | Create to Motivate

Connect members to a vibrant, uplifting, and flex-structured community of parents and stepparents as well as to additional resources for legal services or mental health concerns, academic support to include preK - college, financial well being, and faith through the Braided Families option for Christians.

Collaborate and build strategic alliances and partnerships with like-minded professionals and other child and family advocates, businesses and organizations to reach the goal of building a Blended Family Resort where services expand into family fun.

Educate After acquiring the tools and know-how that lead to transformation through Entry Point or Accelerator Advantage, Stepfamily Systems by Tricia Powe Books and More provides a low-cost maintenance membership (doors open to new members this August!) to help beat back chronic litigation that drains energy, time, and other resources from the family. 

Create to Motivate - Scenario-based growth modules encourage dialogue, inspire confidence, and expand ability to navigate challenges and conflict.  And families are encouraged to create shared memories through the use of the arts, sports, entertainment, and more.

Mission in a nutshell: To help parent-stepparent couples identify their family's blend blockers and address their co-parenting challenges with an attitude of carefronting* instead of confronting made possible through the four-part program and four pillars above.
